Director & Clinical Psychologist
Nedlands: 0416 817 107Jason is one of only a small number of clinical psychologists in Western Australia who has a particular interest in adult ADHD, having completed a PhD and published/presented in this area. His PhD examined the neuropsychological characteristics of this group (e.g., memory, executive functioning). Jason has also been trained in how to apply cognitive-behavioural therapy to this population by world experts, Rostain and Ramsay (University of Pennsylvania), and prominent adult ADHD coach, Lisa Tuttle (Mindful Self-Management). Since founding this specialty clinic back in 2015, he has worked extensively with adults experiencing ADHD.
Jason also has substantial experience working in general adult mental health with syndromes such as depression, bipolar disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and addiction. Jason is particularly interested and experienced in delivering schema therapy to people with personality disorders and/or complex PTSD, and is also able to draw on the advanced training he has received in EMDR. In addition to traditional cognitive-behavioural therapy, he is familiar with dialectical behaviour therapy, metacognitive therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Complex diagnostic assessments represent a further area of interest, and Jason has experience providing focused neuropsychological assessments to people experiencing a wide range of psychiatric disorders. He also enjoys working cross-culturally and has presented at international conferences on topics including modifying cognitive-behavioural therapy for use with Muslims and Arabs.
Jason heavily values the scientist-practitioner model and belongs to a number of professional organisations: American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders, UK Adult ADHD Network, and International Society of Schema Therapy.
Jason is able to provide assessments and skills-based therapy in Joondalup and Nedlands. To book an appointment with him at either of these locations, refer to the Book an Appointment box.

Dr Lyn Bennett
B(App)Sc, Grad Cert Large Org Communications, MBBS, FRANZCP
Consultant Psychiatrist
Lyn is a Consultant Psychiatrist working in private practice. Lyn is a locally trained (UWA) graduate of Medicine and holds Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
One of her areas of interest is attention disorders, and she is a member of the WA ADHD Focus Group and a member of the ADHD Australian Professionals Association. Another area of interest for Lyn is neuro-modulation techniques. Lyn is credentialed through Black Dog Institute to perform Trans Magnetic Stimulation and she is currently looking at the role of Direct Current Stimulation and Bioneurofeedback as augmentation, or stand-alone techniques for those with attention deficits, with or without hyperactivity.
Lyn would be pleased to offer an opinion for those who are 18 and over. As there can be co-morbid depression, anxiety or other issues that may be complicating the presentation, she is well placed to treat ADHD and these comorbidities, as clinically indicated.
Lyn is based in Wembley at The Marian Centre.
